ROISD joins TEA Lawsuit
The Red Oak ISD Board of Trustees unanimously voted in favor of joining the litigation challenging the Texas Education Agency's (TEA) failure to provide Texas school districts advanced notice of measures, methods, and procedures to be used in the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 school years prior to the start of each of these school years in violation of State law.

TEA Delays Student Score Reporting for Spring 2023
The Texas Education Agency announced Tuesday, Sept. 12, it is pushing back the highly anticipated release of newly revised campus and district accountability ratings from Sept. 28 to past October at the earliest.

State release of EOC & STAAR scores
Earlier this spring your child took the State of Texas Assessments of Academic Readiness (STAAR®) and soon you will receive your child’s results. The state assessment is one of many ways to measure student learning. Teachers will use STAAR results along with other information to support your child’s learning in the new school year.

ROISD Bond (PASSED) and Board Results
The bond for a second middle school was approved in the May 6, 2023, election with 60% of the voters in favor. In addition, both John Anderson (Place 3) and Johnny Knight (Place 4) won their elections for the school board. The third spot (Place 5), will have a run-off election between Sean Kelly and Penny Story on June 10, 2023.

Skyward Family Access - Strong passwords required
