ROISD State Rating Improvements in Student Achievement and School Progress

Red Oak ISD continues to make academic progress with the release of the 2026 state accountability ratings. The District moved from a 77 in 2025 to a 78 in 2026. The most notable gains have been in Student Achievement and School Progress scores. In addition, the number of distinctions increased to ten, from seven in 2025.

Red Oak High School made the greatest strides, moving from a B (81), with a five-point increase to a mid-level B (86) and two distinctions. Wooden Elementary had the highest overall rating of a high-level B (87) and earned five distinctions.

“These results reflect the collective efforts of our teachers, support staff, administrators, and every employee who plays a role in helping our students succeed,” stated Superintendent Brenda Sanford. “While accountability ratings represent only one measure of our work, they provide important evidence that our district is moving in the right direction.”
