Greetings everyone,

Since 2004, I have worked in policing for the City of Dallas. Over those years, I spent my time working with community leaders, school administrators, and students in the Dallas Oak Cliff area. I am certified by TECOLE to provide instruction and teach. I am also certified as a Mental Health Officer. I also retired as a Master Peace Officer in 2023.  In 2019, I received my Masters Degree in Criminal Justice and Criminology from the University of Texas at Arlington. I enjoy working in the community and engaging with kids. I transitioned from policing to education in 2023. I currently  serve as the FOCUS teacher at Red Oak High School. GO Hawks!!
