My name is Shannon Maynard.  I've been an educator since 2008.  I graduated from The University of Texas at Arlington in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and in 2018 with a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction in Literacy.  I've taught at LaVega ISD, Lancaster ISD, and am blessed to have found my place here in Red Oak ISD.  I've taught Pre-K, and 1st through 5th and can't imagine being anything other than a teacher.  

I have been married to my wonderful husband, Matt, since 2018.  Between us, we have 5 beautiful children ranging from 29 to 12 and two adorable grandbabies, ages 7 and 4.  We love spending time with family, friends, and our sweet Pittie.  In my spare time I enjoy reading and crocheting.
