Hello!

My name is Leigh Ann Mitchell and I am the Secondary Instructional Math Coach at Red Oak High School. I have taught middle and high school math and am excited to support the teachers and students here at Red Oak High School! In my spare time I enjoy cooking, gardening and bird watching with my husband. I also like to create - whether its coloring, sewing, or baking - and share my creations with others. I am a math nerd at heart and I love learning about math, doing math, and teaching math! I believe EVERY person is a MATH person and all one has to do is achieve a growth mindset to be successful in math class and in life. Lastly, I am an advocate for STEM and encourage my students to pursue their passions.
