Welcome to my webpage!  I am excited about this school year and look forward to working together.  This is my 25th year of teaching and I have taught a variety of grade levels.  I really enjoy teaching first grade because the students grow so much in reading and writing during the school year.  I love seeing them become excited about their progress.  I am a proud mom to two amazing adult children.  My son is 22 and he owns his own business as an electrician and my daughter will be 21 soon and she is starting her 3rd year of college at Texas Women's University.  I have one dog. Her name is Lillian and she keeps me company now that I am an empty nester.  I love the beach, family time, and reading.  Amazon and Netflix are also two of my favorite activities.  I promise to do my best to make your child's first grade year a wonderful experience for them and you!  Setting the stage for success!
