Hello 2nd grade!! My name is Mrs. Sides and I am so excited for this school year! This is my first year teaching, so we are all going to be learning and growing in 2nd grade together! 

I grew up in Round Rock, TX and graduated from Texas State University. I then moved to Midlothian, where my husband coaches football and teaches chemistry!

There are countless moments every single day, where I have an opportunity to make an impact on a student's life and to make them feel loved and valued. That will be the culture that is created in our classroom. Every single person is so unique and brings such a beautiful gift into the world and into our classroom. Servant leadership is my teaching philosophy, and I am so blessed to work in a district that focuses on leaving a legacy through service.
