Rachel has served in public, private, and charter Texas school communities since 1997. She taught middle school and high school science courses after enjoying time as a college teaching assistant. Administrative roles have included preschool, elementary campus, and district-level leadership. She joined the Red Oak ISD team in 2012. Her driving passions are to create opportunities for students and to build capacity to sustain them.
She has been married to her husband, Brad, since 2000 and has two amazing daughters. She finds joy in spending time outdoors with her family, serving with her church family, writing, and singing.
