Education: Superintendent Certification from Lamar University in September of 2018; Master of Education Degree in School Leadership from Texas Woman’s University: Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from Southwestern Oklahoma State University.
Bio: Garry Gorman joined Red Oak ISD in 2017 as Executive Director of Elementary Learning. Prior to joining ROISD, he served as Principal of Baker Elementary for five years in Prosper ISD. During his tenure in Prosper, his campus was awarded the 2017 Excellence in Professional Learning from Learning Forward Texas. Gorman began his career in McKinney ISD as a middle school choir teacher in 1996. He went on to teach 3rd and 4th grade at various campuses across the district. He was promoted to Assistant Principal in 2006. Under his leadership, he led his staff through many areas of growth and student improvement.
His wife Nikki is a pharmacist, and they have two children: Kaleb and Karsyn.
