I am the Gifted and Talented Specialist for D. T. Shields Elementary. I started my own gymnastics business at the age of 15, put myself through school, earned degrees in elementary education, physical education, obtained a kindergarten endorsement, and have loved teaching for over 36 years. It just tickles me pink to see the light bulb flash above a child's head at the exact moment of understanding!
