Hello, I am the Functional Living Academics (FLA) teacher here at Wooden.  I truly enjoy and love the teaching experiences that I am involved in every day.  My kids (students) provide me with insight, challenges and many a ha moments that have me excited to design lessons that allow them to grow academically. You realize these are honest facts as you discover that I have been teaching students with significant challenges for 19 years  with in the same building as well as within the same 4 walls all 19 years.  That one mere fact is due to continual support my students and I receive from every level of ROISD administration and my fellow teachers. 

Previous to teaching in public schools, I held supervisory and teaching positions within social agencies, both private, state and federal. Those positions established my desire to teach children with disabilities.
