I grew up in this area and graduated many moons ago from Red Oak High School. I always have had the fascination of why things occur the way they do which led me to understand science well. This is my eighth year teaching at Red Oak and seventeenth year of teaching. I have taught various life sciences, but Chemistry for the last ten years.

My philosophy is all students can learn. I strive for students to do their best and walk away at the end of the year expanding their knowledge.I enjoy helping my students understand the required content but most of all, I like to relate Chemistry to real world experience so students know why it is important to learn.
