Parent/Student Device Information
Red Oak ISD issues devices to each secondary student (grade 6-12) for students to have a device in school and take home for homework. Devices are assigned to each student, and they are then responsible for device care and maintenance. Campus tech teams can assist students, if needed, with device issues. Students with existing fees at the beginning of the school year will not be issued a device. If you have any questions, please contact the front desk at your campus and ask to speak with the Campus Tech. The Campus Tech will be able to review the existing fee information.
ROISD devices are similar to textbooks when issued and cost for repair becomes the responsibility of the student, per the ROISD Technology Device Agreement signed when the device is issued. We highly recommend parents purchase the device insurance to cover any incidental or accidental damage.
ROISD Recommends ALL families purchase the Device Protection Plan to cover incidental and accidental damage to District-issued devices. Rate is $50
DEADLINE To Purchase the protection plan - September 18, 2025
