Region 10 Certification Principal Program

 

Region 10 is excited to announce the addition of the Principal Certification to our program. The Principal CERTification prepares candidates on the path towards principalship through non-traditional means as we show what the day-to-day life of principals and assistant principals looks like throughout Texas. Coursework and practicum activities are designed to broaden experience, provide research-based practices, and build relationships. By the program’s end, a candidate will have what it takes to be an effective administrator.

Region 10's Certification Principal Program requirements:

• A Master's Degree from an accredited college with a minimum of a 3.0 GPA*
• 3 years of teaching experience as a certified teacher
• Valid teaching certificate (Texas or comparable).
