Advanced Academics
Advanced Academics includes courses, programs, assessments, services and supports that provide opportunities for students to demonstrate college and career readiness and earn post-secondary credit.
Red Oak ISD offers a full program for advanced academics:
- Elementary: Pull-out Gifted and Talented classes
- Middle School: Honors core academic classes
- High School:
- Honors courses
- Advanced Placement (AP) courses
- Dual Credit courses
- Dual Credit Career and Technical courses
- Hawk Scholar's Academy through Navarro College
Please see a campus counselor for grade advancement and credit-by-exam without prior instruction applications. The windows for filling out applications are as follows:
