HAWK STUDENT MEDIA INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

Student Media Banner

The Hawk Student Media Intern Program, sponsored by the Red Oak ISD Office of Communications, is designed to give students a professional learning experience in the fast-paced world of school communications and media production. This program offers interns the opportunity to build skills in journalism, photography, videography, graphic design, and social media management while telling the powerful stories of Red Oak ISD students, staff, and community.

As part of the district’s communications team, interns will gain behind-the-scenes access to school events, athletic competitions, fine arts performances, and special district initiatives. They will learn how to capture, create, and share content that highlights the heart of Red Oak ISD, while developing strong communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.

Through this program, students not only explore potential career paths in media, communications, and public relations but also leave a lasting impact by contributing to the district’s vision and reputation.
