A 2005 Red Oak High School graduate, Captain Jared Ussery grew up in Red Oak ISD, and found his way back home to serve the community that helped shape him.
Now, with more than 18 years in the fire service, Ussery leads with a focus on family, teamwork, and earning the respect of his crew.
This Firefighter Appreciation Month, we’re proud to highlight Captain Ussery’s journey from Red Oak ISD student to Red Oak Fire Department captain.
