Our Mission

We believe that Red Oak High School Athletics provides a unifying influence within our student body and between our school and community. Red Oak considers athletics an integral part of education and believes that participation in sports develops and instills commitment, responsibility, and loyalty, which will guide them for post-school competition in society.

ARE YOU READY FOR ANOTHER STATE CHAMPIONSHIP SEASON?!

2026 Volunteer track practice will take place daily beginning Monday, December 1, through Friday, December 12 at Goodloe. 2026 Track & Field Mandatory Parent Meeting - Mon., Jan. 12, 6:30 p.m. ROMS Cafeteria.

PRACTICE BEGINS: Monday, December 29th, 2025

PRACTICE TIME: 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.

PRACTICE LOCATION: High School Stadium (On the middle school campus)

WHAT DO YOU NEED BEFORE YOU CAN PRACTICE:

  • Sign up for the track & field sportsyou (athletes AND parents)
  • An updated physical
  • Running Shoes & Spikes
  • Emergency Contact Sheet
  • Copy of 3rd Six Weeks Grades
  • 25 Contacts For GroupFund Fundraiser (explanation @ later date)

SPORTSYOU SIGN UP INFORMATION

  • You must sign up for SportsYou ASAP!
  • Download the sportsyou app
  • Enter the track & field code: U9W8-U6TD

Practice Dates (weather permitting):

  • Monday, December 1st – Friday, December 5th
  • Monday, December 8th – Friday, December 12th

General Information:

  • Please sign up for the 2026 sports you ASAP (see website)
  • All practices will be held at the track located at Red Oak Middle School
  • Practices will be from 4:45 – 6:00 p.m.
  • Parents will pick up athletes from the track, not the middle school
  • A shuttle bus will be available daily and will leave at 4:38 p.m. daily
  • The shuttle bus will be located in front of the high school football field house each day
  • Athletes need to bring workout clothes daily and running shoes (spikes not required
