Donald T. Shields Elementary

Mrs. Allyson Bell is in her fifth year as Principal of Shields Elementary School. After joining the Red Oak Community in 2017 with her husband and two sons, she was excited to join the Red Oak Independent School District. Allyson grew up in Mesquite, and spent 10 years in Mesquite ISD. She previously served as the Assistant Principal of Range Elementary School, and taught third and fourth grades prior to moving into administration. Mrs. Bell is passionate about serving her community as a school leader and spreading her enthusiasm for teaching through her background in Professional Development. Allyson holds a Bachelor’s Degree from Texas A&M-Commerce and a Master’s Degree in Educational Administration from Lamar University.
