      • Athletes need to set up recruiting profile using Hudl website. The website provides a database of prospects for collegiate coaches to review stats, academic transcripts, and HUDL video links. Contact Chris Ross for more information.
    • Types of Scholarships
      • Division I FBS-85 (ex: Texas, Clemson, Houston, Tulsa, North Texas)
      • Division I FCS – 63 Full or Partial + Financial Aid + Academic (ex: Sam Houston St, Abilene Christian, McNeese, Southern Illinois)
      • Division II – 36 Full or Partial + Financial Aid + Academic (ex: Henderson St, Tarleton St, Midwestern St, West Texas A&M)
      • Division III – Academic Only (ex: Southwestern, Mary Hardin Baylor, Hardin Simmons)
      • NAIA – 24 Partials + Financial Aid + Academic (ex: Bacone College, Texas College, Tabor College)
      • NJCAA – 85 Full or Partial + Financial Aid

      • Grades - These are important as soon as the athletes start taking high school courses

        • The score needed depends on the Core GPA
          • The higher the Core GPA = the lower the SAT/ACT score
          • The lower the Core GPA = the higher the SAT/ACT score
    • What steps do I need to to take?
      • 9th / 10th Grade
      • 11th Grade
        • Continue to make amazing grades
        • Take ACT / SAT – Submit to NCAA (code=9999)
        • End of the year transcript will be submitted to NCAA
      • 12th Grade
        • Finish your core classes strong
        • Take ACT / SAT again if necessary
        • Final transcript will go to NCAA
    • NCAA Clearinghouse.... What is it?
      • The NCAA Eligibility Center determines whether or not the athlete can play or not play at the Division I or Division II level.
      • Athletes cannot be considered for any college without creating an account with the NCAA Clearinghouse.

      • Summer session for athletes attending summer conditioning
