Lt Col Smalley has been teaching in Red Oak since 2006. She has a BS in Journalism from Texas A&M University. She teaches Civil Air Patrol, Photography I, and Photography II. She is also the Deputy Director of Cadet Programs in Texas Wing of the Civil Air Patrol and the Commander of the Red Oak Cadet Squadron.
