My name is R. Lliliana Salinas-Sletmoen. I have a Masters in Gifted Education from the University of Texas Pan American (now UTRGV) with a Minor in Bilingual Education, along with a Masters in School Administration. I have a Bachelor in Arts from "Universidad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon" and different certifications from different universities in different countries.  My experience is as follows: twentyone years of experience as an educator in the United States (in diverse fields, grade levels and capacities).  In Canada, two years as a Roots of Empathy Instructor (anti-bullying program)at the Elementary level,  at the secondary/adult educationlevel. five years as a Health Instructor and Prenatal/Postnatal Coordinator. In Mexico, four years of experience as an ESL teacher and substitute teacher at the University Level in Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, Mexico and The Graduate School for Teachers.

I am married to Greg Sletmoen and we have two daughters and a grandbaby who will be five in October. We are also in the process of adopting a son. My interests are diverse;  I love to paint portraits (oil painting), go antiquing, collect historical memorabilia, last but not least, we are animal rights advocates thus have rescued and rehomed many homeless animals.throughout the years.

Liliana Salinas-Sletmoen, tengo una Maestría en Educación de Estudiantes Avanzados (GT) de la Universidad de Texas Pan American (UTRGV); tambien tengo una Licenciatura en Artes del Lenguaje otorgada por la Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León. My experiencia docente es en tres paises diferentes, veintiuno en los EEUU, dos en Canada como voluntaria del programa Raices de Simpatia a nivel primaria, cinco como Instructora de Salud además de Coordinadora de Educacion Pre y Post Natal, en Mexico, cuatro anos como Instructora de Ingles como Segundo Idioma a nivel Universitario en la Univerisdad Autonoma de Nuevo Leon en Monterrey, Mexico y en la Escueala de Graduados de la Normal Superior..

Mi esposo se llama Greg Sletmoen y tenemos dos hijas y una nieta (estamos en proceso de adoptar a un hijo). Tengo diversas actividades que me interesan, pintar al óleo, comprar y restaurar antigüedades, coleccionar objetos históricos, y ante todo, fomentar los derechos de los animales que rescatamos.
