Julie Phillips has worked in public education for over 19 years, with Red Oak ISD from 2003-2007, returning in 2016. Prior to that, she worked in the commercial printing industry as a business manager for 15 years.

Julie earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 2012 and a Master of Business Administration degree in 2014, both from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, Texas. In addition, she has earned the TASBO-RTSBA (Texas Association of School Business Officials--Registered Texas School Business Administrator) certification.

She has been married since 1989 and has two sons, a daughter, a precious grandson, and a Lab/Golden Retriever mix named Rebel. The family has lived in Red Oak since 1999 and all three children are graduates of Red Oak High School.
