Charge Policy
  • Secondary students may charge one lunch – Once the student has a negative balance, they will receive an alternate meal until their outstanding balance is paid. The alternate meal will consist of a fruit, vegetable, bread (if offered), and milk. 

  • Elementary students are allowed to charge up to $10.00. Once the negative balance reaches $10.00, the student will receive an alternate meal until their outstanding balance is paid. The alternate meal will consist of a fruit or juice, toast, and milk at breakfast, and a fruit, vegetable, bread (if offered), and milk at lunch.

  • Students will not be allowed to purchase ice cream or snacks if they owe charges. Any money given to the cashier will be put toward the students outstanding charges until the negative balance is paid in full.

  • Los estudiantes de secundaria pueden cobrar un almuerzo - Una vez que el estudiante tiene un balance negativo, recibirán una comida alternativa hasta que se pague el saldo pendiente. La comida alternativa consistirá en una fruta, verdura, pan (si se ofrece), y la leche.

  • Los estudiantes de primaria pueden cobrar hasta $ 10.00. Una vez que el saldo negativo llega a 10,00 dólares, el estudiante recibirá una comida alternativa hasta que se pague el saldo pendiente.   • Los estudiantes no se les permitirá comprar helado o aperitivos si deben cargos. Cualquier dinero dado a la cajera se pondrá hacia los cargos pendientes hasta que se pague el saldo negativo en su totalidad.



Red Oak ISD Student Nutrition Department now offers another way to put money in your children’s lunch account. Online deposits may be made by simply creating an account and following a few easy steps. Even if you choose not to add money to your child’s account online you may see their account balance and daily transactions on this site. For you own convenience you may also set up low balance e-mail reminders.
